Patti and Virginia are “the best.” I have known them for many years now, and have used and observed their work in various settings. Though their work has been centered in Santa Fe, Dallas, and Austin, their services have been sought throughout the Southwest. They are truly “client-centered”, always starting by listening to their clients’ desires, preferences, budget, and ideas as the place to start. Then, they go to work to identify decor themes, seek furnishing options, and find unique pieces, always working closely in communication with the client(s) to ensure a best solution. Almost seven years ago, I moved and decided to change out most of my furnishings. Being in the Dallas area, I worked with Virginia Smith at a very casual pace over several months as we truly collaborated to furnish and decorate my new condo. The building architecture was Tuscan, so I wanted to include that look with a few of the pieces that I had wanted to keep. It was so helpful to have Virginia as a “team member” to help me select upgrades, flooring, and window coverings while we were in the building phase. Being retired, I was working within a budget, and I was continually amazed at how Virginia knew exactly where to go to find something special, but at a price that was amazingly affordable. Often I would find something on sale, and then ask her to check it out, and we would decide together whether it would work. When moving day came, Virginia and I worked together to get everything positioned just right, creating warm and cozy conversation spaces surrounded by unique furnishings, casual gathering and snacking spaces near the open kitchen, comfortable and relaxing bedrooms, and an inviting guest room that doubled as an office. Even the patio became a special haven with the perky red rattan furniture, a wrought iron table and chairs and an accent rug.

While visiting in Santa Fe, I have had the opportunity to observe Patti and Virginia working together on a project. They are easy to work with, …efficient, creative, fun and gracious, …and so talented. Both depend upon input from the clients and each other, and their teamwork yields an optimum solution, regardless of whether it is an upscale project or a small enhancement for a part of someone’s home or business. They are comfortable working with any number of different decor styles, and whether it’s fabrics, furnishings, bookshelf arranging, art object placement, flooring selection or pillow puffing, each detail is done with love and their desire to help the client define and realize their dream.
